Siefert is majoring in sport communication. She is the daughter of Kevin and Shelley Siefert of Lexington. Siefert is a 2010 graduate of Lexington High School.

Alpha Lambda Delta honors students who in their first or first two semesters have achieved a 3.5 cumulative grade point average. The honor society's purpose is to encourage superior academic achievement among students in their first year, to promote intelligent living, and to assist students in recognizing and developing meaningful goals.
