Alexandra Higgins of Findlay, OH, is a recipient of the Junior Award for the Department of Social Work at Ashland University.

Higgins is majoring in social work. She is the daughter of Timothy and Constance Higgins of Findlay. Higgins is a 2010 graduate of Bucyrus High School.

The Departmental Awards are given to one sophomore, one junior and one senior from each department and were awarded at the Academic Honors Convocation.
