Alexandra Tolich of Mineral Ridge, OH, is a member of the Young Democrats at Ashland University.

Tolich serves as Recruitment Captain of AU young democrats. She is the daughter of David and Deborah Tolich of Mineral Ridge. Tolich is a 2011 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School.

The purpose of Young Democrats is to promote political education for those aligned with the political party, encourage voting regardless of party lines, and to aide students in becoming politically involved starting at a young age. The majority of activities work with Ashland County Democrats in bringing speakers to the area from all aspects of involvement in the party and voter registration drives.
