Ali Polkinghorn of Lucas, OH is a member of the Student Nurses Association at Ashland University.

Polkinghorn is majoring in nursing. She is the daughter of Rex and Tina Polkinghorn of Lucas. Polkinghorn is a 2011 graduate of Lucas High School.

The Student Nurses Association is dedicated to fostering the professional development of nursing students. Members participate in community health and legislative/education projects and other activities to recruit students into the profession. Members attend annual convention to enhance their knowledge of the legislative process and its relationship to nursing.
