Alison Biro of Clinton, OH is a member of AU G.I.V.S. Biro is majoring in toxicology. She is the daughter of Ronald and Debora Biro of Clinton. Biro is a 2011 graduate of Norton High School. Biro serves as one of the event chairs for AU G.I.V.S.

The mission of AU G.I.V.S. is to provide Ashland University, including students, faculty and staff, with service opportunities to expand their social and educational experiences as well as create an atmosphere of committed lifelong service to others and an understanding of social responsibility and civic engagement in the following areas: Senior Citizens, Environmental/Sustainability efforts, Hunger and Homeless Relief, Animal Welfare, Youth and Children, Education and Literacy, and Veteran/Military Families.
