Alliance Resident Name GLIAC Athlete of the Week

Alliance resident, Brian Baum, who is a senior exercise science major at Ashland University was named this week's Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) cross country athlete of the week. This marks the second time this season that Baum has been awarded this honor.

Baum is the son of Terry and Denise Baum of Alliance, and is a 2011 graduate of Marlington High School.

Last week, Baum won the #JennaStrong Fall Classic with a time of 24:52.38. He was followed up by his teammates Nicholas Hall, and Isaac Potes to stamp Ashland to a one, two, three finish. Ashland also won the team title at the event.

The Eagles will next compete on October 31st in the Walsh 5k invite. The meet will start at 4:30 pm.
