Anna Mion Named to GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team

Anna Mion of Medina, OH, was named to the GLIAC Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field All-Academic Excellence Team.

Mion is majoring in food science. She is the daughter of Michael and Claudette Mion of Medina. Mion is a 2011 graduate of St. Vincent-Mary High School.

The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) named 42 Ashland University winter student-athletes as an All-Academic Excellence Team Award. To be eligible for this honor, the athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above and must be an active member on the roster at the start of the season. As a whole, the GLIAC had a total of 766 student-athletes achieving all-academic recognition with AU having 89 total student-athletes with academic honors.
