Karissa Magnacca of Wadsworth, OH, competes on Ashland University's Club Volleyball Team.

Magnacca is majoring in early childhood education. She is the daughter of Joseph and Renee Magnacca of Wadsworth. Magnacca is a 2013 graduate of Wadsworth Senior High School.

Club sports provide the Ashland University students an opportunity to play at a competitive level against other universities outside the realm of varsity athletics. It also provides students with opportunities for recreation and physical activity in a wide variety of sports. Competitive clubs contend with sport clubs from other towns or universities, traveling to different events throughout the year.
