Marissa Lindberg of Dover, OH, is a member of the Ashland University Cheerleading squad.

Lindberg is majoring in psychology. She is the daughter of Larry and Jodi Lindberg of Dover. Lindberg is a 2013 graduate of Dover High School.

A talented group of Ashland University Eagle Cheerleaders provide the lift and energy for Eagle athletes and fans. The varsity squad consists of sixteen female members and the Junior Varsity has ten members that cheer at all home football games and all home basketball games. The varsity squad also cheers on the teams at any NCAA tournament games. Each girl on the varsity squad is awarded a $500 scholarship. The squad is led by head coach Vicki Wirick, who has led the Eagles since the year 2000. In addition, Wirick serves at the Eagle Elite Dance Team advisor.
