Michala Metzcar of Zoarville, OH, competes on Ashland University's Club Volleyball Team.

Metzcar is majoring in exercise science. She is the daughter of Alan and Holly Metzcar of Zoarville. Metzcar is a 2013 graduate of Tuscarawas Valley High School.

Club sports provide the Ashland University students an opportunity to play at a competitive level against other universities outside the realm of varsity athletics. It also provides students with opportunities for recreation and physical activity in a wide variety of sports. Competitive clubs contend with sport clubs from other towns or universities, traveling to different events throughout the year.
