Deric Dove of Newark, OH is a member of Ashland University's Drop of the Hat Players.

Dove is a 2012 graduate of Lakewood High School.

Originally started in the 1990s as an outreach program, Ashland University Theatre's Drop of a Hat Players perform a variety of Broadway show tunes. They often perform at banquets, meetings, parties, civic group engagements or other special events. The group provides a performance training opportunity for students with tunes that range from classic to contemporary. The traveling group is open for booking from September through the beginning of May, depending on performer availability.
