Members are also required to attend a number of educational meetings. The Youth and Literacy Team is responsible for addressing the literacy needs of local children. Their projects include Homework Help for local children, as well as a book drive. They also plan and organize Friendly Town, a Halloween Party and the Spring Carnival. The Habitat for Humanity Team works with Habitat for Humanity International. Their mission is to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness. The team's projects include fund-raisers for Habitat, a Spring Break trip and bi-monthly Saturday Habitat for Humanity work days.
