Achauer is majoring in intervention specialist, early childhood education. Achauer is a 2009 graduate of Dublin-Coffman High School.

The Order of Omega recognizes students who have attained high standards of leadership in inter-Greek activities and within their chapters. The organization holds monthly meetings; publishes "TOGA," the all-Greek philanthropic newsletter; and sponsors the ROSE award to outstanding individuals of Greek chapters for academic excellence. Members must be juniors or seniors of a fraternity or sorority and have at least a 3.0 grade point average.
