Austin Borton of Dayton, OH, is a member of the cross country team at Ashland University.

The Ashland University cross country team competes in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). Last year, the men placed eighth in the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional meet and fourth in the GLIAC Championship. The women also achieved success last year, placing 12th at the Midwest Regional and fifth at the GLIAC meet. The Ashland University cross country team is led by second-year head coach Tom Scott. The Eagles' next meet is Sept. 16 at the Michigan State University Spartan Invitational.
