Student Nurses Association (SNA) is an organization derived from the National Student Nurses Association and is dedicated to fostering the professional development of student nurses. SNA meets once a month to encourage the growth of students with guest speakers who specialize in various types of nursing, new grad panels, and being involved in various community service organizations, such as Be the Match Bone Marrow Drive, Hope Lodge, Navajo Shoe Box Drive, and a canned food drive for Harmony House. Each year, the students have the opportunity to attend the national conference held across the country where they are able to represent Ashland University, network with hospitals and graduate schools, as well as attend informational meetings based on his/her interests in nursing specialties. A one time, yearly due of $10 is required to become a member. There is no application process to become a member of SNA, but we do ask that you have a passion for nursing!
