Cameron Macklin of Cleveland, OH is a member of the Ashland University football team.

He is the son of Carl and Kristie Macklin of Cleveland. Macklin is a 2010 graduate of Orange High School. Macklin is a defensive back for the Eagles.

The Ashland University football team competes in NCAA Division II in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). They are led by head coach Lee Owens. The Eagles play their home games in the Jack Miller Stadium/Martinelli Field on the Ashland University campus. The Eagle football team went into the post season last year at 12-0, and fight to return to the playoffs for the second year in a row.
