Carsten Dembeck of Brighton, MI, is a member of the Ashland University Baseball team.

Dembeck is majoring in supply chain management.

He is the son of Craig and Wanda Dembeck of Brighton. Dembeck is a 2013 graduate of Father Gabriel Richard High School.

The Ashland University baseball team competes in NCAA Division II in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). The Eagles are led by head coach John Schaly, now entering his 20th season. The Eagles play their home games at Sarver Athletic Complex. The Eagles baseball team, which finished last season 33-22, made an appearance in the 2016 GLIAC tournament with a record of 0-2. The Eagles season began on Saturday, February 25, at Trevecca Nazarene and they currently hold a record of 5-6.
