The Ashland University Academic Honors Convocation was held April 13, 2014, in the Ashland University Chapel. The Academic Honors Convocation Awards Ceremony is held to celebrate academic achievement, promote community and recognize outstanding sophomores, juniors and seniors by Departments.

The criteria for the awards by Department are scholarly achievement, completion of at least 30 credit hours over two semesters at Ashland University, and a GPA of 3.25 or above. To be recognized at the Academic Honors Convocation is a long standing honor in the history and traditions of Ashland University.
