Cassie Craig of Orient, OH, is a member of Ashland University's American Chemical Society.

Craig is majoring in biology. She is the daughter of Jeffery and Melissa Craig of Orient. Craig is a 2012 graduate of Central Crossing High School.

The purpose of the American Chemical Society (ACS) Student Chapter is to increase interest in chemistry and chemistry-related fields among undergraduate students and community members, as well as enhance professional development among undergraduates, through regular meetings, social events, and community service events. The ACS Student Chapter is open to all undergraduates who are interested in the chemical sciences.
