Charles Michel of Cincinnati, OH is a member of the men's track and field team at Ashland University. Michel is majoring in mathematics. He is the son of Patrick and Kathleen Michel of Cincinnati. Michel is a 2012 graduate of Summit County Day School.

Both Ashland University track and field teams are ranked among the top teams in the country.The AU men were the national runner-up a year ago and return a well-balanced nucleus from that unit. The Ashland women were fifth last season. Jud Logan is the head coach of both Ashland teams.
