The Ashland University men's cross country team competes in NCAA Division II in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). The men's cross country team is coached by Tom Scott, who is starting his first season with the Eagles. The men's cross country team will begin 2015 ranked in both the national and Midwest Region preseason polls by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The team is ranked 15th in the country in the national preseason poll and they are the second-highest ranked Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference program.
