Chelsi Howman of Ashland, OH, was named a resident assistant at Ashland University.

Howman is majoring in digitial media production. She is the daughter of Roy and Shelli Howman of Ashland. Howman is a 2011 graduate of Crestview High School.

The resident assistants are responsible for upholding the mission and values of Ashland University, implementing the goals of the residence life program, and working to develop a community environment on their floor(s). Resident assistants are the foundation of the Residence Life Department and have the responsibility to act as a community builder, administrator, programmer, disciplinarian, and a positive role model for the residents of their building and the campus community.
