Colton Johnson of Galion, OH, is a member of the Indoor Track Team at Ashland University.

Johnson is majoring in exercise science. He is the son of Marc and Mary Johnson of Galion. Johnson is a 2009 graduate of Mt. Gilead High School.

Ashland University's Indoor Track Team competes in NCAA Division II in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The Eagles are led by head coach Jud Logan and assistant coaches Dana Freeman, Dave Smalley and Trent Mack. The 2012-2013 indoor track season is Jud Logan's eighth season as head coach. Jud Logan was named the 2010 Midwest Region Men's Coach of the Year for indoor track and field and he was tabbed as the 2010 GLIAC men's track and field coach of the year during the outdoor season. At the NCAA Division II indoor track and field championships on March 10 2012, the Men's Indoor Track Team finished seventh in the country and the Women's Indoor Track Team finished twelfth in the country.
