The Ashland University Eagles women's basketball team is currently ranked No. 1 in the country with a 22-0 undefeated record, (15-0 GLIAC). The team has held the No. 1 team position since practice opened in October.

Delanie Wolf of Minster, OH is a member of the women's basketball team. Wolf is majoring in fashion merchandising. She is the daughter of James and Shelly Wolf of Minster. Wolf is a 2011 graduate of Minster High School. Wolf is a forward on the women's basketball team.

As a team, the women's basketball team is averaging 79.3 points and 43.9 rebounds per game.

The Eagles have held three consecutive teams to 46 points or less. Over the last seven games, no team has scored more than 57 points. The Eagles have won their last two games by 42 and 40 points. Only once in the last five games has a team stayed within 29 points of Ashland.

The Ashland University women's basketball team competes in NCAA Division II in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). They are led by head coach Sue Ramsey, associate head coach Robyn Fralick and assistant coach Shannon Sword. The Eagles play their homes games in Kates Gymnasium on the Ashland University campus.
