Elisha Hofer of Sandusky, OH, is a member of the Student Dietetics Association at Ashland University.

The Student Dietetics Association (SDA) is open to students in dietetic majors and anyone else interested in nutrition. The SDA has multiple committees within it such as the speaker, fundraising, public relations and service committees. The group focuses on educating the Ashland University campus as well as the local community with events such as National Nutrition Month, which is celebrated every March. Ashland University's SDA has won numerous awards from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for its efforts.
