Bell is majoring in digital media producation. She is the daughter of Bradley and Susan Bell of Marion. Bell is a 2010 graduate of River Valley High School.

The radio station, WRDL-FM is a volunteer-run student radio station on FM 88.9. Participation is open to majors and non-majors. The station provides music, sports and news to the Ashland community and those within a 40-mile radius of the city.
