Erica Gray of Ashland, OH, is a member of Ashland University's American Chemical Society.

Gray is majoring in middle grades education. She is the daughter of Steven and Suzanna Freelon of Ashland. Gray is a 2011 graduate of Ashland High School.

The purpose of the American Chemical Society (ACS) Student Chapter is to increase interest in chemistry and chemistry-related fields among undergraduate students and community members, as well as enhance professional development among undergraduates, through regular meetings, social events, and community service events. The ACS Student Chapter is open to all undergraduates who are interested in the chemical sciences.
