Mary Hitchcock of Geneva, OH, is a member of the women's track and field team at Ashland University.

Hitchcock is majoring in social work. She is the daughter of Bruce and Melissa Hitchcock of Geneva. Hitchcock is a 2011 graduate of Jefferson County Christian School.

The Ashland University women's track and field team competes in NCAA Division II in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). The Eagles are led by head coach Jud Logan, now entering his 21st season as a coach and his 10th season as head coach. The Eagles play their home games at Ferguson Field located next to the football stadium. The Eagles hope to return to the top of the GLIAC with a mixture of veterans and new faces in key positions.
