Hannah Wiles Member of American Medical Student Association

Hannah Wiles of Wooster, OH, is a member of Ashland University's American Medical Student Association (AMSA).

Wiles is majoring in biology. She is the daughter of Robert and Connie Wiles of Wooster. Wiles is a 2014 graduate of Smithville High School.

This past year the Ashland University's American Medical Student Association (AMSA) has gained 14 new members for a total of 22 members and 8 of those members are nationally recognized members through the AMSA organization. This has been a 175% increase since last year! Just last year, the Ashland charter was passed at the national convention in New Orleans and Ashland University is now a nationally recognized chapter. In addition, three members will be attending the National Convention in Washington DC representing Ashland University and presenting research that was conducted here through the science department. Goals for next year are to increase membership through Ashland and through AMSA.
