Hartville Resident Receives Departmental Award at Ashland University

Hannah Wise of Hartville, OH, recieved the Senior award for the Department of Music at the Ashland University Academic Honors in Jack & Deb Miller Chapel on Sunday, April 22.

Wise is majoring in music education and vocal music emphasis.

She is the daughter of Jay and Ellen Wise of Hartville. Wise is a 2014 graduate of Lake High School.

The Departmental Awards are given to one sophomore, one junior and one senior from each department at the Academic Honors Convocation.

The criteria for the awards by Deparment are scholary achievement, completion of at least 30 credit hours over two semesters at Ashland University, and a GPA of 3.25 or above. To be recognized at the Academic Honors Convocation is a long standing honor in the history and traditions of Ashland University.
