North Olmsted resident, Jeremiah Jansen is a member of the officials league of Ashland University.

Jansen is majoring in business management. He is the son of Lawrence and Maureen Jansen of North Olmsted. Jansen is a 2013 graduate of St. Edward High School.

The Officials League of Ashland University is an organization where students are able to gain more officiating experience. Students have the opportunity to officiate games outside of Ashland giving them more experience as well as networking opportunities. This club allows for its members to also have the resources necessary to go out and become certified officials in whatever sports they choose.
