Jessica Barnhouse of Norwich, OH, is a member of Ashland University's Kappa Delta Pi - Kappa Nu Chapter's honor society.

Barnhouse is majoring in music education and instrumental music education.

She is the daughter of Jason and Stacy Barnhouse of Norwich. Barnhouse is a 2012 graduate of Cambridge High School.

Kappa Delta Pi - Kappa Nu Chapter's purpose is to recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to education and to promote development of worthy educational ideals. The group strives to enhance continued professional growth. Its activities include an annual fundraising event for Associated Charities, initiation ceremonies and meetings on topics related to professional growth. Membership in Kappa Delta Pi requires a 3.5 grade point average in the education courses with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 overall.
