Jessica James of Shreve, OH is a member of Ashland University's St. Jude Executive Board.

She is the daughter of Steve and Margaret James of Shreve. James is a 2014 graduate of Loudonville High School.

The St. Jude Executive Board organizes St. Jude Up 'til Dawn, which is an annual event that takes place all over the country on college campuses. The purpose of Up 'til Dawn is to spread awareness, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital mission and values while having fun. Members stay up all night to show that no matter what time of day, children are battling cancer and undergoing treatment. Every year, the executive board holds fundraising events and social events to get a better understanding of St. Jude Up 'til Dawn and help participants raise money for the cause. Thus far, Ashland has raised over $250,000 since 2008.
