Jessica Milliron Is Awarded Emerson Scholarship at Ashland University

Ashland University Student Jessica Milliron of Mansfield, OH was awarded a scholarship through the Emerson Scholars program in the Dauch College of Business and Economics. Milliron is majoring in finances. Milliron is a graduate of Shelby Senior High School.

The program is meant to benefit students by offering them a $3,500 scholarship during their senior year at Ashland University. In addition to financial assistance, the program helps students network with some of the senior managers from the company and learn about possible career opportunities with the company.

The recipients are chosen, on a competitive basis, from a variety of business majors. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. They must also show a great potential to contribute to their chosen career by having demonstrated outstanding leadership within the Dauch College, on campus, and in the community.
