Jessie Ryder of Massillon, OH is a member. Ryder is majoring in social work. She is the daughter of John and Inger Ryder of Massillon. Ryder is a 2012 graduate of Massillon Washington High School.

The purposes of the Alpha Phi sorority are to uphold high ideals of womanhood, scholarship and service. Activities include dinners, family events, annual Teeter-Totter-A-Thon, Adopt a Sweetheart and Jump Rope for Your Heart. Membership is open to female students with a 2.5 grade point average. Prospective members are required to go through an application process.
