St. Jude Up 'til Dawn has been at Ashland University for four years. Last year we raised $32,000, and this year we are hoping to beat that goal. Our main focus, though, is to increase awareness of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This year, Up 'til Dawn was Las Vegas themed because a child's life should never be a gamble. We had many fun activities at the event including blackjack tables, a Plinko board, and a Vegas chapel photo opp. Besides games, we also had prizes to raffle off ranging from movie tickets to gas cards and even Cavs tickets. The most important activity, of course, is letter writing. This year we sent out slightly over 4000 letters to our friends and family and we hope to see a great return in donations.
