The Ashland University men's soccer team is led by first year head coach Oliver Slawson, who comes to AU from the University of Akron, one of the top Division I soccer programs in the country. Slawson is assisted by graduate assistant coach Declan McGivern and volunteer assistant coach Rhys Cannella. The program, which was reinstated this fall of 2016, has a rich tradition - reaching the NCAA Division II postseason five times, earning a spot in the D?II Elite Eight in 2001 and achieving a GLIAC Tournament championship in 2010. The Eagles play at the Ferguson Soccer Facility, one of the top Division II facilities in the country.
