Johnathan Benko of Ashland, OH is a member of Ashland University's Geology Club.

Benko is majoring in hospitality management.

He is the son of Thomas and Constance Benko of Ashland. Benko is a 2013 graduate of Cuyahoga Heights School.

The purpose of the Geology Club is to explore areas of geology and/or earth science that cannot be studied in the classroom or lab. Professors involved with the club encouraged students to actively engage in research that will give them experience with real-world scientific investigation. Activities include field trips to areas of geological interest and lectures on occupations in geology and related fields. Membership is open to all interested students.
