Kaylee Clark Completed Business Internship at Ashland University

Kaylee Clark of Huntsville, OH, completed an internship through the Dauch College of Business and Economics at Ashland University.

According to Dr. Khushwant Pittenger, business professor and internship coordinator at Ashland, these required business internships are a good way for students to explore their career choices, network with professionals, build their resumes and develop applicable skills.

Clark interned with RV Wholesalers in Lakeview, OH, under the supervision of Mike Durnell.

Clark's duties included auditing customer files, working with accounts receivables, and reconciling bank statements, code bills and collections.

Her major projects included auditing customer files, reconciling bank statements for various companies and using proper collection techniques to receive money from dealerships and customers.

Clark said she learned how to audit and use proper collection techniques.

"My accounting and finance classes helped me understand the reasoning behind the assignments that I was given," Clark said.

Clark is majoring in accounting and finance.

Clark is the daughter of Mike and Cindy Clark.

Clark is a 2008 graduate of Indian Lake High School.
