Mary Hitchcock Named to GLIAC All-Academic Team

Mary Hitchcock of Geneva, OH, was named to the GLIAC Women's Indoor Track and Field All-Academic Team.
Hitchcock is majoring in social work. She is the daughter of Bruce and Melissa Hitchcock of Geneva. Hitchcock is a 2011 graduate of Jefferson City Christian School.
The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) named 47 Ashland University winter student-athletes as an All-Academic Team Award. To be eligible for this honor, the athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 - 3.49 and must be an active member on the roster at the start of the season. As a whole, the GLIAC had a total of 766 student-athletes achieving all-academic recognition with AU having 89 total student-athletes with academic honors.
