Matthew Serafine Member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity at AU

2016 Feb 25

Matthew Serafine of Lodi, OH, is a member of Kappa Sigma-Theta Nu Chapter fraternity at Ashland University.

Serafine is majoring in exercise science.

He is the son of Kevin and Pamela Serafine of Lodi. Serafine is a 2013 graduate of Cloverleaf High School.

Since being reinstalled on October 26, 2013, the brothers of Kappa Sigma-Theta Nu Chapter have worked hard to bring success to their chapter. Their annual "A Mile in Their Shoes" event, held in April 2015, raised more than $1,000 for the Military Heroes Campaign. The men have also worked diligently to have chapter members represented in other areas of campus life including: recreation center employees, intramural sports, choir, St. Jude Executive Board and Orientation Team. In 2015, Kappa Sigma received AU Greek Honors as the "Outstanding Fraternity Scholarship Program" and as the "Outstanding Philanthropic Project." The men of Kappa Sigma have formed a strong brotherhood and are excited to see continued growth of their chapter in the coming years.
