Megan Salatino of Follansbee, WV, is a member of Ashland University's Sport Communication Club.

Salatino is double majoring in public relations/strategic communication and sport communication. She is the daughter of Mark and Pamela Salatino of Follansbee. Salatino is a 2012 graduate of Brooke High School. Salatino serves as the president of Sport Communication Club.

The Sport Communication Club strives to educate Ashland University's campus and the surrounding community of the multiple tenets of sport communication, and how its actions can affect individuals on different levels. By attending sporting events, completing community service, and organizing programming for Ashland University, the members of the Sport Communication Club actively gain knowledge about the sports realm and learn how even consequences on a national stage can result in repercussions on a local level. The Sport Communication Club hopes to present more forums and programs in the future to educate sports fans about the numerous facets of sports communication.
