Megan Wise Presented at the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Symposium at Ashland University

Megan Wise of North Canton, OH, made a presentation, "Profiling and Detecting Deceitful Communication in Security Screening" and "Medical Professionalism and Ethics", during the College of Arts and Sciences' third annual Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Symposium held in late March.

Wise is majoring in speech communications. She is the daughter of Warren and Margaret Wise of North Canton. Wise is a 2009 graduate of Hoover High School.

The event provides students in the College of Arts and Sciences the chance to present the results of independent study projects, thesis work, term papers or literary analysis, exhibit their artwork, or give literary readings, musical or theatrical performances in a professional setting. A total of 51 performances, presentations and exhibitions were made by 65 students, representing 14 departments from the College of Arts and Sciences.
