Brooklyn resident, Michael Byndas is a member of the officials league of Ashland University.

Byndas is majoring in actuarial science. He is the son of Lydia Byndas of Brooklyn. Byndas is a 2013 graduate of Brooklyn High School.

The Officials League of Ashland University is an organization where students are able to gain more officiating experience. Students have the opportunity to officiate games outside of Ashland giving them more experience as well as networking opportunities. This club allows for its members to also have the resources necessary to go out and become certified officials in whatever sports they choose.
