Who's Who Among Students is an award presented across the nation, including the District of Columbia, and in over 1,000 schools. The program stands with high regard as a honors program in higher education. Individual schools make their selections each fall through a campus nominating committee. The campus nominating committee comprises of representatives from the faculty, administration and student body. These individuals nominate eligible upper classmen and graduate students, who receive the presentation of an award certificate. The selection process represents students with a positive image, both individually and through diverse service to the community and school. Curricular and extracurricular programs are accounted for and each school is assigned a quota of nominees to ensure an accurate representation of the student body. After the faculty or administration endorses the nominations, students who receive the recognition symbolize scholastic achievement to the highest degree.
