Nick Seemann of Akron, OH is a member of the University Choir at Ashland University.

Seemann is majoring in theatre. He is the son of Gaylord and Lori Seemann of Akron. Seemann is a 2011 graduate of Revere High School.

The Ashland University Choir, directed by Dr. Rowland Blackley, professor of music, is composed of sixty-six singers representing many academic majors across campus. They are selected by private audition and rehearse three days a week. The ensemble regularly performs programs of unaccompanied literature of all eras as well as major works with orchestra. The choir has made numerous concert tours of the United States and Europe. They are the principal choral ensemble on campus.

Recent repertoire has included these larger works: Mendelssohn's Elijah, the Verdi Requiem, Carmina Burana, the Chichester Psalms, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, the Mozart Requiem and Vesperae Solennes de Confessore, the Faure Requiem, Bach Magnificat, and Vivaldi Gloria. The Ashland University Choir regularly performs with Maestro Arie Lipsky and the Ashland Symphony Orchestra.
