Nikki Overmyer of Willard, OH, is a recipient of the Sophomore Award for the Department of Journalism and Digital Media at Ashland University.

Overmyer is majoring in digital media production. She is the daughter of William and Dana Overmyer of Willard. Overmyer is a 2011 graduate of Willard High School.

The Departmental Awards are given to one sophomore, one junior and one senior from each department and were awarded at the Academic Honors Convocation.
