He is the son of Steven and Celeste Dyroff of Webster. Dyroff is a 2011 graduate of Webster Schroeder High School. Dyroff, a junior, is a defensive back for the Eagles.

The Ashland University football team competes in NCAA Division II in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). The Eagles are led by head coach Lee Owens, now entering his 11th season. The Eagles play their home games in Jack Miller Stadium/Martinelli Field on the Ashland University campus. The Eagle football team, which finished last season at 5-5 and 5-4 in the GLIAC, hopes to return to the top of the GLIAC with a mixture of veterans and new faces in key positions.
