Sam Dowdy on Homecoming Court for Ashland University

Sarver resident, Sam Dowdy, who is a integrated social studies major at Ashland University, was recently voted to be on the homecoming court for Ashland University.

Dowdy is a member of Orientation Team, Habitat for Humanity, Kappa Delta Pi honorary, Fellowship for Christian Athletes worship team, as well as the public relations executive member for Black Student Union. Dowdy was nominated by the Orientation Team.

He is the son of Jonathan and Kathleen Dowdy of Sarver. Dowdy is a 2009 graduate of Central High School.
