Across the nation, colleges and universities have chapters working to eliminate cancer in the areas of advocacy, cancer education, Relay for Life, and survivorship. Ashland's chapter, in its previous years, has worked to raise money for the American Cancer Society and has given gifts to those affected by cancer in the Good Shepherd Nursing Home. They also host a Relay for Life event in the spring.
